Devizes RFC

Devizes travel to Wadworth Southern Counties South league leaders Sherborne on Saturday, buoyed after their emphatic win over North Dorset last weekend.  In what was considered to be their best effort of the season, the Saddlebacks will go into Saturday's clash against an undefeated Sherborne in good spirits.  Last season, Devizes were able to come away with the win, however know that Sherborne have carried their excellent run of form late last season into this campaign, with wins over Trowbridge and Corsham.  Kick off down in Dorset now the clocks have gone back will be 2.30pm.

After not being able to field a side last week (much to everyone's disappointment), the 2nd XV host Melksham 2s at home for a 2.30pm Kick off.  If you cannot make the trip to Sherborne, come on up and cheer on the Devizes lads in a local derby.

Providing all goes well, we'll be able to also field a 3rd XV side at home to Supermarine 2s - again this will be a home fixture so come on up and support on the top pitch for a 2.30pm Kick off.

On Sunday, Devizes Ladies host Ellingham & Ringwood Ladies to the Chivers Ground as they continue their league campaign.  After a 10-10 draw down in North Petherton two weeks ago, our Ladies will be hoping to improve on the showing in the cup, where Ellingham & Ringwood came away with a 65-0 win.  A lot of the squad that day were development players, so hopefully the Ladies will have their strongest line up out against a side currently at the top of the league.  2pm kick off on Sunday for this one - all support is welcome.
